Make Stream Deck profiles point to any OBS scene collection
Imagine you have an OBS scene collection called "Production Winter 2023" with many scenes, videos etc. Over time you also have developed a pretty complex Stream Deck profile called "Winter 2023" to work with it.
Now you duplicate your scene collection, so all sources are the same, and then you add some new sources and scenes...
You call it "Production Spring 2023". Next you duplicate that Stream Deck Profile as well to Spring 2023.
Here is the BUT:
All assignments in that newly created Stream Deck Profile "Spring 2023" still point to the old OBS scene collection
"Production Winter 2023".
Use Stream Deck Collection Switcher to make Stream Deck Profile "Spring 2023" point to the new OBS scene collection "Production Spring 2023" - as follows:
Handling more than one scene collection:
If you have set up your Stream Deck to e.g. switch between multiple scene collections, then the resulting profile will have more than one scene collection in it...
Use Stream Deck Collection Switcher to even assign only parts - e.g. make only those elements that point to "Current_Video_Selection" to a newly built OBS scene collection named "My_Media_Collection"
A backup of the entire Stream Deck profiles folder will be autmatically created before any changes are being made:
