Question / Help Hotkey scene switches with macro buttons?

Hello! I recently got a Corsair K55, and it has 6 macro buttons. I was hoping I could bind them to switch scenes, mute mic, etc. but when I go to set the hotkeys with them it binds the keys as 1 through 6, instead of "G1" through G6 like I was hoping. I was wondering if there was any way around this, thank you!

Use CUE to set up unique key combinations for your G keys. Then just set that your hotkeys in OBS to match.

I am just curious, when you set the G1, G2, G3 etc macros on the k55. How exactly do you set them to start streaming and stop streaming? (Same question for recording and mute mic).

You set the G-key to a unique key combination, then set that combination as the hotkey in OBS.
On a side note, if you use a keyboard emulator, you can set keys that don't exist on (most) keyboards, but are still part of the keyboard HID spec, like F13-F24.
