Maybe you have the perfect middle ground settings for my recordings/suggest other programs?

Hey,

I want to record my gameplay. I am searching for a very clean and non pixelated recording setting. Which does not take toooo much drive space, when recording 20-45min videos. Does not need to be higher than 60fps but if you have suggestions. Which fit the perfect middle ground between quality and almost no performance loss. Tell me! :D

(down there are my settings right now)

You're almost using the same quality settings as simple output mode with "indistinguishable quality" will set. You vary the quality and file size with the CQ level setting. Higher CQ levels reduce quality and file size, lower CQ levels increase quality and file size. Below a value of about 15, no visual change can be perceived by the human eye. A change of +-3 about halves/doubles the file size. Adjust accordingly to find your personal best balance between quality and file size.

In general, yes.
Additionally, you could improve compatibility and security against accidental computer shutdown or OBS crash by choosing "Hybrid mp4 (beta) (.mp4)" as output format. However, this will just slightly change the file format, not changing quality or file size.
