I need help with recording Genshin Impact gameplay for Youtube

I have no ideea what I'm doing with OBS. My pc specs are. My genshin settings

I tried messing with the seetings, but it was a stupid ideea. some people online also tell me not to record in 4k, but record in hd and then upscale. I have no ideea how to do that. Can you please help me? I just want to record 60fps genshin gameplay, with a good resolution

Create a new profile and activate auto configuration wizard to reset important settings to default.
In the auto Configuration Wizard, optimize for recording.
Make sure as encoder nvenc is selected by the wizard. Will not work without that.
Use 60 fps and make sure the game is also limited to 60 fps and vsync is activated.
If the auto configuration wizard didn't select 3840x2160 as base resolution and output resolution (in Settings > Video), set both to 3840x2160.
Don't change any other setting.
If you have issues, for example encoder overload and lost/lagged frames, set output resolution to 2560x1440 or even down to 1920x1080. If you still have issues, also set the canvas resolution to what you chose as output resolution.
Ignore people who say you should upscale.
Don't use a different encoder than nvenc.
Don't change color space, color format and color range.
Post a log that contains a log of a recording session, if you have issues with the auto selected settings.
Add a game capture source for recording your game. Don't use display capture, and especially don't add both a display capture and a game capture source to the same scene.

(I'm listing all these don'ts, because this is what people do over and over again, although it's not best practice and worsen any result and even completely destroy any recording)

I followed your steps: I had to lower the output resolution to 2560x1440 and it looks like this
I am very happy with the result. Thank you so so so much, it means a lot to me. I will test it out starting tomorrow; I shall message you if any problem arises

Any recommendations when it comes to uploading to Youtube, in order to preserve video quality?

There's not much you can do. Just upload what you recorded. If you want to postprocess your video and upload the postprocessed version, please consult corresponding video editing best practices and guides. This is way out of scope of this forum.
