OBS crashes after scene change , EC: Failed to recreate D3D11: Failed to create swap RTV (80070057)

After each scene change OBS crashes, the preview image hangs and OBS throws an error message.

OBS Version: 28.1.2.
Current graphics card driver is available
I have already tried reinstalling OBS and older versions, same problem.

I have googled quite a bit but can't find anything about this problem or the error code.

Now I hope you can help me =)

Unfortunately your GPU is crashing, you'll need to resolve that first (drivers, overclocking, poor PSU, failing GPU, etc).

hmm i have reset and reinstalled all drivers, all games like cyberpunk run on ultra graphics without problems.

as soon as I use OBS and start the stream it hangs again. (OBS only)
if it were GPU problems would this be noticeable in the game/windows or?
no overclocking is active
FPS, temperature and performance are working fine
only the software of OBS makes problems :/

are you sure the GPU has a problem?

Mine is doing the same thing. I re-installed version OBS 27.2.4 and its doing the same thing. Never had this issue until a week ago

I've installed the latest graphic card driver (NVIDIA Quadro P1000), reinstalled OBS (V29), deleted a bunch of OBS scenes, Installed the latest Windows 11 updates, installed a Zoom update, checked the HAGS option (not available on our system), Help!

Update. After restarting, OBS functioned fine for awhile, then froze. Before that, OBS was working fine but Zoom, using the virtual camera, froze with the first image sent from OBS (it worked fine otherwise). I am unable to select a new scene and transition to it in OBS after a certain point. However, it did not crash. I will attach the log for this issue below, but in looking through it, I don't see any log of the freeze, it just recorded transitions between scenes with no indication that the image on the screen froze.

GPU crashes are unfortunately difficult to diagnose. I'd guess that an older card like the P1000 doesn't have great Win 11 driver support.
