Hi team,
I've been trying to record on OBS everyday and OBS keeps crashing. I cant even provide you with a Crash log since OBS keeps either freezing or crashing.
here are some PC specs and further details below:
PC -
CPU - Ryzen 9 5900x (Upgraded recently)
GPU - AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid cooled
Memory - 32GB Ram
Storage: 2 TB NVMe
Motherboard : Asus tuf x570
Power: 850RM - Gold
Liquid cooled CPU and fan cooling system
Windows 10 Pro
Recording info:
Aspect: 16:9
3840x2160 - 4K ( Recording resolution same ) - I've tried to scale down the recording to 1440p but the problem is identical.
60 FPS
AMD, H. 264 Hardware encoder
balance preset
100000 Kbps VBR
Lots of research, testing done for optimal recording. Have tried other settings but recording quality and FPS is horrible for both recording and while gaming.
What happens:
1. Open OBS
2. Load Game
3. Record
4. Recording Only last between 2 mins and 10 mins OBS will suddenly Freezing, Not allowing me to do anything, navigate nor Close the application.
5. Game still operating during this time fine as well. I can close the game. But then, I'm forced to restart the PC using the Hard Button. As Alt+Clrt+Del won't close the application.
I've read forums, YouTube and have definitely tried to figure this out myself with my own due diligence and I'm having still significant no luck what so ever. can someone please help ?
