Windows Capture entirely absent on OBS

Hi there, I'm a newbie to OBS, just realising how helpful it can be to create good online presentations. However ..... OBS won't show 'windows capture' in the 'sources' box.

Any ideas, please? This is driving me nuts. I'm on a MacBook Pro 2019, running processor 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9; Graphics MD Radeon Pro 5500M 4 GB
Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

Running on Ventura 13.6.9

Window capture is under the Deprecated sub-menu of the new source menu. The more modern option is MacOS Screen Capture in the main new source menu. Within Screen Capture you an choose display, window, or application capture.

Let me try that... If so I'll thumbs up it.

Well I tried it and it won't let me select a particular window to capture. It just goes to a blank list showing nothing.

How do I get my windows on Mac OS showing up on there?

Neither Mac OS video capture nor Mac OS audio capture don't work. And neither does legacy window capture.

Have you granted permission to OBS to access Screen Recording? Hit "Review App Permissions" under the main OBS menu

Assuming for starters that you mean PowerPoint.app, and not .exe, since you do appear to be on a Mac, it should be there as "[Microsoft PowerPoint] filename". I'm not entire sure what's wrong, as you do see some choices, but it might still be a permissions issue. Note: I also have choices there like Control Center and, and every other app that is running. The fact that you have only Dock, OBS, and the window server is a bit odd.
