When I only record my screen or only stream to the Internet, there's no problem. But when I do them at the same time, the streaming and recording result become pretty laggy and it's totally unwatchable, like it's 1 fps...
I recorded a 2 hours long video in MKV file format, but only the first 2 minutes and 23 seconds are playable.
I have no idea what the issue could be.
Attached is the log file.
Basically i go into OBS and i record then it says in Media Player (Windows 11) That the video is still being recorded while i open it. And it stops itself at how long i Record the video for. Any help?

Hello, short summary of my issue. Happy to answer more questions though if...
A Python 3.6 script that reduces the bitrate of the stream / recording as audio increases. Includes two versions of the script, one that looks for specific jumps in volume and another that proportionally relates high volume amounts with bitrate count.

So i was recording lethal company with my friend for roughly 1 hour 43 minutes
in 1920x1080 base canvas, resulting in 12 GB file video.
and somehow for the first 34 minutes in the video, only green screen appeared with normal audio
and it turned normal afterward.
What does this script does?
To put it simply, it tries to be the organizing function of NVIDIA Shadow Play.
Once you configure it you don't have to worry about anything else, because from now on your recordings as well as replays or screenshots will be sorted for you.

What has changed?
I freshened it up and made it working again.

Will there be any updates?

Hello everyone, many of my videos recorded in OBS have been experiencing lags lately. Sometimes the video was recorded without lags; sometimes half of the video was smooth, and the other half was not. I set a higher priority (higher than normal), and it got a little better, but the problem...
Hey there! I'm super new to OBS, so I'm not the best at using it. While the game I'm recording runs great and looks great on my computer, the recording always looks very low quality. I don't think it's a resolution issue, since I have it set to 1920x1080 (both base and output resolution) and it...
Maybe someone here can help. I've been having problems streaming and recording for 1 month. It affects OBS and Xplit. When shooting in DXGI mode, the image is gray and flickering. And with Windows 10 and higher there is no image at all. I changed a lot of things and reinstalled Windows and...
So the native resolution on my TV (as I don't have a proper PC monitor) is 1360x768, and I wanna try to record my videos in 1080p 60fps at least. It seems that no matter what I do, my footage ends up looking pixel-y. Mainly I'm trying to record the Yakuza games, and while the cutscenes tend to...
I am using OBS for the first time and using it to record the contents of an old HD camcorder to my PC via HDMI and a video capture dongle.
Everything is working OK, except I have an echo on the audio.
Can anyone tell me what the problem may be please?
