NDI PlugIn | Fail to install

Dear OBS community;

Hope to find you well.

I'm part of Environmental NGO, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal. We would like to Multicam, multi stream our meeting were some environmental activists will debate our current situation.

I'm responsible for producing it, very poorly I may add. I can't instal the OBS plugins, the one that I fond here, and elsewhere. My Mac mini m1, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 tells me, very diligently, that I fail to install it.

Can you help me?

The environmental struggle cannot stop because a plugin failure... can it?

All the best!

I do not speak portuguese nor can read it, but I did just recently install NDI on my streaming setup.

Here is the installation page just in case: https://github.com/DistroAV/DistroAV/wiki/1.-Installation

Install the NDI runtime:

Install the NDI toolkit:
Current version 6.0.1: https://go.ndi.video/l/428312/2024-05-29/7b8gyq
Toolkit webpage https://ndi.video/tools/download/
Download from first or second location

Install DistroAV (formally OBS NDI) from github:
Version 6.0.0: https://github.com/DistroAV/DistroAV/releases/download/6.0.0/distroav-6.0.0-macos-universal.pkg
DistroAV releases page: https://github.com/DistroAV/DistroAV/releases
The current tool kit only works with 6.0.1 perfectly between MacOS ARM and other computers.
Older versions of the toolkit and older versions of the plugin with the name: "OBS NDI" do no work with all machines.
I had to go to at least version 6.0.0 on both the plugin and the toolkit to get NDI to work on MacOS ARM/Intel, Windows 10/11, and Ubuntu Linux all at the same time

This is how you set up for MacOS, if you want Linux or Windows refer to the github installation guide but download the most recent versions of the NDI ToolKit and the DistroAV. The runtime currently is not version specific. The NDI ToolKit should install the runtime, but installing the runtime first before the NDI ToolKit does not hurt at all. If it exists, it will overwrite.

Restart your computer once you install all three. By default everything is public, so anyone on the network with NDI can see the broadcasts.
