My OBS is being used normally like every day, but today when I recorded the screen it dropped the FPS to only about 5-10fps even though it was running normally and the Fps displayed in OBS was still 60fps, the system was not at full load.

1. In Windows, we recommend that "Game Mode". Game Mode can be enabled via the Windows "Settings" app, under Gaming > Game Mode.
2. Display and Game Capture Sources interfere with each other. NEVER put them in the same scene (scene 'Game Scene').
3. Record to MKV. If you record to MP4 or MOV and the recording is interrupted, the file will be corrupted and unrecoverable. If you require MP4 files for some other purpose like editing, remux them afterwards by selecting File > Remux Recordings in the main OBS Studio window.
4. Lower the resolution on your Web Camera from 2688x1520 to something else. There's no way it needs to be that high when base/canvas resolution is 1920x1080 or 1280x720.
5. Don't upscale from 1280x720 to 1920x1080. Try to avoid scaling altogether. That just uses additional GPU.
6. Multipass, Look-ahead and Psycho Visual Tuning all use additional GPU. Disable all of them. Disable Multipass by setting it to Singlepass.
