I need help please.
If you see the the recent Video on my twitch stream at the beach streamed from my ddj400 and gaming laptop @ www.twitch.tv/DanjunaDJ, and compare it to any other filmed using my ddj1000 and beast of a PC, you will hear the significant drop in bass from the beach stream. Details of laptop below.
Ddj400 controller has a built in soundcard, and delivers sound to rekordbox software using the usb cable (it's only connection to the computer) and has twin rca out for speakers.
- Sound going to thr speakers is perfect.
- sound going to rekordbox and recorded rekordbox wav file are perfect.
For obs to hear the music you have to set rekordbox to send audio to desktop audio as well as controller (this sends the audio to the computers sound card)
-in obs, with the audio source set as 'Realtek audio - computers sound card) it hears the sound and should stream it perfectly... However it is lacking bass. This does not happen on my pc, only my laptop (my pc has digital Audio in and the ddj1000 can do master and booth out)
But the ddj400 didn't do this when I used to stream on my surface pro. And it's bugging me that obs is recording everything except a significant amount of the lowend. Almost like the low pass filter is on.
The controller is working perfect as rekordbox recorded audio is perfect and output to speaker is perfect.
It is what obs is pulling from the computers soundcard. And I have tried uninstalling and installing fresh drivers from Realtek site, I've even tried to use the ddj400' sound card (line2 ddj400) as the sound card but obs can't detect any signal from it and either can Windows. I've also put on bass boost on the sound settings. All obs settings are at full quality, 4,000+ stream quality, 320kps audio, 1080p video.
I worry it's a Windows 11 issue or driver issue, but it doesn't make sense why I'm hearing the sound but with low bass.
Please help.
