Just Edit OBS theme 2.0

The new default theme "Yami" is a close resemblance to Just Edit. I like the big blocky buttons of Yami but like the design of Just Edit better. A combined kind of version would be neat

seems a bit cramped for those using 1080P, Too bad I don't know how to edit this.

It is the best theme that exists, very elegant. I just have a few suggestions:
1) Perhaps the number of borders could be reduced so that the panel interface does not occupy so much space horizontally and vertically, so on screens with low resolution, everything will be seen better.
2) When updating OBS 28, there is a gap when trying to select a source (attached image)

Welcome to OBS Studio 28, celebrating the 10th anniversary of OBS! 10 years ago, the first version of OBS was released by Jim. Today, we have hundreds of contributors and countless users. We're very grateful for all the support, and we're happy that so many people find it useful! This release comes with a ton of new features, all of which can be found in the release notes, but we've highlighted a few here.

First, and probably the biggest change, is that we now have HDR support! You can play games in HDR and OBS will automatically tonemap the content to SDR. If you want to capture and record HDR content, this is now possible with the appropriate HDR settings. See the release notes for a basic overview and how to set OBS correctly for HDR.

For our Apple M1/M2 users, native Apple Silicon support is here! OBS is now available as an ARM64 app for macOS, running without Rosetta. Also available for our Apple friends on macOS 12.5+ is the new ScreenCaptureKit, which improves the experience in capturing both individual windows and the display. For those on macOS 13+, direct audio capture is also available.

NVIDIA Background Removal is now available for RTX GPUs on Windows. This allows you to remove the background from your camera without a physical greenscreen.

We’ve added a new, more efficient and up-to-date implementation of the AMD encoder on Windows. This update improves performance and provides access to new encoder features.

A long time coming, obs-websocket is now part of OBS as a first-party plugin! This makes it easier to get up and running with tools that interact with obs-websocket. You can find more information here: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/just-edit-obs-teatime-theme.156546/

Just wanted to add that I LOVE this theme, OBS should adopt this theme as their default, SO MUCH better!! LOVE IT!

My only wish, which I'm not sure is possible, is for the "Recording" button to turn Yellow when you've hit Pause. I use OBS for recording all my content with different camera angles and such, so I'm constantly hitting pause and record, but it's so hard to see and often I've found myself thinking it's not paused when it actually is...
Hello and thank you for your support!
The problem is that the I don't know how to change the highlight color only for the pause button. For now it's highlighted in purple like everything.
The best I think is to have a look at the task bar icons to check if you're paused or not:

I think it's relatively clear here.
Thanks!

I just wanted to say this is one of my favorite themes out there.

Also, sorry to post it in here but I can't create topics in this forum and I want to stay in topic, so... I'll go to the point: I've been searching everywhere but seemingly... either I'm too stupid or the information is too privileged because I can't find a single detailed straightforward guide for OBS Theming without deleted posts, edited comments or just outright 404 or weird contradicting info.

How hard it is? Considering I'm a graphic designer-blahblahblah BUT I am not a programer, but I'm willing to learn. Do any of you have a guide handy or is willing/able to at least give me a few pointers on what do I need to learn or download to start working on themes? Basically I'll take it from there, with maybe a question or two afterwards, hoping not to be an annoyance.

I really appreciate the time in reading this. Keep up the good work!

Hello DASH! Thank you for your feedback on my OBS theme. To answer your question: no you are not stupid!
Creating a theme for OBS is not easy and the only documentation you will find is here: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Custom-Themes
It is quite complicated to apprehend and for my part, I have started from an existing theme by trying to understand how it was made. After that it's only a matter of time and trial and error to find out where each parameter is.
Here you will find a software that will allow you to view some changes live: https://sourceforge.net/projects/qsseditor/
Good luck to you!
